Animal Care Centers is owned and operated by

Dr. Christopher Hallihan and Dr. Kristen Casulli

with tremendous help from their hard-working staff.

Drs Hallihan and Casulli are not only partners in Animal Care Centers, but at home as well - as they are also husband and wife! Dr. Hallihan and Dr. Casulli met at the University of Pennsylvania, where they were classmates in Penn's School of Veterinary Medicine. In August, 1998, Drs Casulli and Hallihan welcomed their first child, a son, Cameron into their lives. In March of 2001, Devon, a daughter, was born.  And most recently, in June of 2003, Cameron and Devon welcomed their little brother Logan. The three of them join the doctor's other "children", their dogs Porter and Coco, their two cats Bob and Luna, and their flock of 8 pet chickens.

Dr. Chris Hallihan
Dr. Hallihan was raised in Hackensack, NJ, where he attended Hackensack High School. His undergraduate degree is from Princeton University, where he majored in biology. Dr. Hallihan received his veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania. His professional interests include soft tissue/orthopedic surgery and avian/exotic medicine. Dr. Hallihan enjoys skiing, fishing, and other outdoor/sporting activities.

Dr. Kristen Casulli
Dr. Kristen Casulli's hometown is Flanders, NJ, where the Animal Care Centers' main office is located. She graduated from Mount Olive High School and did her undergraduate work at North Carolina State University, where she graduated with a B.S. in biology before attending veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Casulli's professional interests include internal medicine, ophthalmology and dentistry. She enjoys reading, hiking, skiing, tennis and the outdoors.

Dr. Victor Villari
Dr. Villari has been in practice for over 35 years. Originally from Jersey City, NJ; he graduated from Livingston High School before receiving his undergraduate degree from St. Francis College in Loretto, Pa. with a B.S. in Micro Biology. Dr. Villari received his Masters and Veterinary Degrees from Michigan State Universicty in E. Lansing, Michigan. He is a member of the Veterinary Honor Society, PHI ZETA. In his spare time, Dr. Villari enjoys reading, classical music flying and restoring collectible sports cars. He resides is Chester with his wife Susanne and their 5 cats.

Dr. Jamie DeSpirito
Dr. DeSpirito was born and raised in Ringwood, but just moved back to NJ after obtaining a B.S. from the University of Vermont, a D.V.M. from the University of Wisconsin and spending 5 years in a small animal practice in Reading, PA. She has always loved animals and used to rescue stray and injured animals as a child. Dr. DeSpirito enjoys all aspects of being a small animal veterinarian and has a particular interest in preventative medicine, nutrition and alternative medicine. In her free time, she can be found at home, cooking, baking fun cakes, doing home improvement projects and spending time with her dogs, Stewie, Bertram and Griffen.
